One of my cats tends to get upper respiratory flare-ups and is always seeking comfort and warmth by cuddling with the others. Unfortunately, her sneezing makes the other cats push her away or they move, which has been especially tough as she’s gotten older and the outbreaks more frequent. I was thrilled to find this heated bed and hoped she would take to it. Setup was simple right out of the box. I was so eager for her to have it that I skipped the suggested prep time for eliminating any odor from the heating pad. Surprisingly, there was no noticeable smell at all. After getting familiar with the temperature and timer settings, I placed the bed right next to her sister’s bed, the one she always tries to snuggle with. As expected, her sister still wanted her own space, but this time she turned immediately to the heated bed, sat down, and soon curled up for a nap. Success! The cushioned 6-inch high sides are perfect since she’s always loved high-sided beds. I also like that the heating pad is tucked in a zippered compartment under the bed cushion, with extra padding above it for safety and comfort. Of course, the other cats had to investigate and even tried to claim it, but we gently guided them back to their own beds. Looks like we’ll be ordering a second one for them soon. For now, this heated bed clearly belongs to her, and I couldn’t be happier seeing her finally cozy and content.

Awesome bed for my cat. Especially now that it’s getting cold out! My cat likes to sit by the window but with dropping temperatures she opts to not do that. I placed this bed by the window and now she gets all cozy and continues to pass the time staring out our window. Very warm and worked great with no issues.

The Toove Heated Cat Bed Indoor seems comparable in price to other similar items. The bed is large and plush with fuzzy soft sidewalls but a less fuzzy interior pillow fabric with textured dots.the round heat pad inserts into the bottom of the bed and can be removed for cleaning/washing. The electric cord is about 6 feet in length and has an easy to adjust controller with temperature control and an automatic off timer control. It is not really a problem, but I do wish the cord came out the bottom of the bed instead of up over the side. I may make a slit in the bottom to pass the cord through. I do wish there were a bit of insulation below the heating pad to reduce the heat loss out of the bottom of the bed. Because of the pillow stuffing, the top of the pillow does not feel especially warm when the bed is not being used but, when a cat lies in the bed, its body weight presses down the stuffing and the heat can then be easily felt.

The product meets the expectations set by the description. The seller recommends running the heat mat before use. I agree though the included printed instructions say "for weeks" which maybe a translation issue. After an hour the smells were gone. I put the actual pet bed outside in direct sunlight for an hour also. There were not noticeable smells at first but this is a standard thing I do with synthetic fabrics so plastics can outgas potentially harmful fumes. The bed is substantial especially the bottom. See the attached images. Banana not included. The insulated bottom sits an inch or two above where placed. The sides are thick and fluffy. During summer I suggest not using the heat mat unless your pet has serious joint issues - it gets warm naturally from the animal's natural heat. I requested to review this product because I have a miniature pinscher pup with hip problems already at age five. I expect he and my cats will negotiate who sleeps there when. The installation is simple. The value is good at this price point. I cannot truly review whether the heat mat will last over time but as of the time of this review it has run continuously three times at the lowest timer setting and still is just as warm. I am comfortable recommending this product.

My cat really loves her new bed. The controls are fantastic as you can easily set the heat between 80 and 130 degrees rather than just choosing between a couple of presets. the timer can also be adjusted between 1 and 24 hours. the controls are intuitive and the learning curve is simple. The heating pad zips into the bottom and can be removed if you ever need to clean the bed. Having a plastic cover over the electrical cord is a nice touch. Very nice overall.
